Bottle to nonic glass.
Appearance: dark brown close to black color with a two finger khaki foamy head which slid off at a nice pace and left some messy lace.
Aroma: big milk chocolatey notes, some fluffy marshmallow, nice caramel maltiness, and balanced nicely by some earthy hops but mostly they stay underneath
Flavor: leans towards the sweet side; long milk chocolatey aftertaste
Texture: light to medium bodied, somewhat sessionable; very smooth and semi-sticky to my tongue; finishes with the milk chocolate with a brisk smoothness
Overall: pretty nicely done milk/sweet stout I believe I could come back to.

16 oz can at home, courtesy of Rob, big thanks. Canned 12/28/2020. black color, small tan head. smells vanilla, marzipan, spices, earthy, nice smell, a bit too vanilla forward for my liking. full body, soft carbonation. tastes of vanilla, earthy, peppery, some oxidation, hints of soy sauce, cocoa nibs, some sweetness, bit artificial, some cola. finishes bitter / sweet with notes with notes of vanilla, peppery and some cocoa nibs. hmm, didnt like this one too much, rather vanilla forward, also a bit on the artifical side. overall this is not very old, so I would assume age shouldnt be an issue, expected a bit more.

Can (12/28/20) from Valley Beverage, Sherman Oaks. It's an opaque black with no sparkle, finger-width light brown foamy head with fair retention and trace lacing. Aroma is strong roasted earthy malts, milk chocolate, caramel and vanilla. Taste follows aroma perfectly. Mouthfeel is light side of light-to-medium bodied with thin, silky smooth texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, drinks somewhere between chocolate milk and a chocolate shake that has sat too long and completely melted. Nice dessert beer but manages to come off kind of light. Nice.

Vanilla and roast. Nice balance here. Dark chocolate, or cacao. A little milk sugar. Black pour with great mocha head, good lacing. Bitter finish, velvety texture. The type of stout we need more of. Tall can.

Deep dark brown coloured body with a rich light brown head that stays afloat nicely and leaves a subtle lace on the top of the glass. Aroma of super strong chocolate, cocoa, earth, nuts, vanilla, lactose and a lot of residual sugars with a subtle hint of alcohol in the nose as well. Medium-bodied; Rich chocolate and malty flavour with a lot of cocoa and vanilla with some deep creaminess from the lactose throughout here, with some subtle nuts and earth and a dash of anise spice towards the end, but the cream, lactose and cocoa are by far the strongest. Aftertaste shows a great balance of sweetness and malts with some pungent flavours from the lactose, sugars and cocoa with a hint of the spice coming through near the end. Overall, a very nice rich stout with tons of sweetness, a lot of malt complexity and a good lactose and creamy note that focuses solely on the cocoa, vanilla and subtle spices. I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Belmont Station in Portland, Oregon on 28-March-2021 for US$4,99 sampled in my cabin here in Crater Lake, Oregon on 29-March-2021.

Bottle from my wife for Christmas. She's got good taste. Dark brown pour with a small ring of beige. Aroma is pure chocolate, while taste offers some hints of coffee and the lacto sweetness. All together it adds up to a smooth sweet brew.
