Bomber. Pours a dark copper color, very clear, a medium white head. A big yeasty toffee nose. The flavor is very sweet, toffee, caramel, berries. Sugary sweet. More of a sweet ASA or BW, but very nice. Light citrus, some bitterness, but more big sweet malty crystal base. Solid.

Tasting at Matt’s
Hazy red-amber color with small head. The aroma is sweaty, armpit. Moderately sweet, strong caramel character, strong bitterness; the hops are dusty, resiny but really not shining.
Not a bad beer; as an IIPA is deceiving though, in 2015.

Bottle - Sweet malty and some pine. Cleanish copper with a light white head. Sweet caramel and hop bitterness. Meh.

22 oz. bottle, pours a deep dark orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out caramel malt upfront, with bready malt and light resin -- not a good balance -- smells kind of skunky. Flavour is fairly harsh, with herbal skunky hops, bready malt and an unpleasantly bitter astringency. There really is nothing good about this. It's not a disaster, but the flavours are rather off-putting.
