Fles thuis geprobeerd. Het is een donker amberkleurig bier met een dun schuim. Het heeft een moutige wat caramel achtige geur en smaak.

Somewhat spicy aroma with hints of cola. Soft bitter flavor, somewhat vegetable-like. Not too sweet, some hints of laurel and caramel. Some warming alcohol. Not great.

Bottle 1988 vintage/ dark brown / smoked caramel, brown sugar, molasses / clean. Medium bodied. Really aged beautifully. Did not expect it to be this good.

F: medium, tanned, average retention. C: dark with red brown hue against the light, bit hazy. A: malty, caramel, bit chocolate, nutty, dark dried fruits, honey. T: rich malty, bit chocolate, dark cherries, caramel, bit nutty, medium dry on the palate, quite simple, medium to full body, lower carbonation, drinkable, 25cl bottle from Prik&Tik Kampenhout bottle shop in Belgium.
