Our flagship beer is also one of the first Pacific IPAs ever produced. In search of a unique style that does not refer to either the English or the US schools, we have developed an innovative blend of hops from Japan, Australia, New Zealand and America. The result is an explosion of tropical scents ranging from coconut milk to mango, enriched with notes of apricot and citrus.

Dec. ’16. A 0.75 l bottle at Birra+, Rome. It poured a hazy golden to orange body with medium sized head. Weaker hop aroma, citrus, grass, pine, some caramel malt, pleasant nevertheless. Flavor was bitter, again, not much, but dry bitterness was being built up towards the finish. Fruity, almost sweetish from hops. Quite much caramel and toffee as well, rounding it up and making its body full. Finish itself was very long and very dry hoppy like pine, grass and peppery cardboard. Not a conventional IPA, breaking the rules and floating somewhere between an IPA and double IPA, but a very pleasant and enjoyable brew for sure.

On tap, half pint @ Birbanti, Trieste. Pours cloudy amber with thick creamy off-white head and average sparkling appearance. Aroma of tropical fruit, flowers, herbs and yeast with mild funky note. Taste starts with light sweet biscuit and bready malt, following is fruity, earthy, grassy and yeasty, mouthfeel is smooth and mild spicy, while finish is moderate bitter. Medium body, creamy texture and soft carbonation in palate. Excellent IPA that sets up my comfort zone...
