Nice cloudy yellow and okay foam, really good pineapple and passion fruit aroma on the nose. Flavour is soft chalky grain with some passionfruit notes; full enough mouthfeel. Very nice, fruity in all the right ways.

Bottle: Poured a super light hazy yellow color ale with a nice pure white foamy head. Aroma of light wheat malt with some citrusy and tropical fruit notes and some light tart notes. Taste is a complex and easy drinking mix of wheat malt with dry citrusy and tropical fruit notes with some tart notes and a somewhat dry finish. Body is light with good carbonation. Very interesting mix of different flavours to create something out of the ordinary.

A hazed golden wit with a thin white head. In aroma, sweet fruity malt with light lemon, Citra hops, light grapefruit pulp, nice. In mouth, a nice sweet tart lemon juice, light tartness, pleasant and smooth. Bottle from GRM, via trade.

Clear light golden coloured body with a slight copper glow and a very thin, half a centimetre tall pure white head. Aroma of alcohol, passionfruit, yeast, sour grapes and a touch of lactose - interesting. Medium-bodied; Assertive grassy flavour up front with a good deal of passionfruit and other tropical fruit flavours and a little honey sweetness and full malt right behind. Aftertaste shows a more refined sour quality at the finish with a smooth and velvety malt along with a slightly tart yeastiness and the passionfruit and sweetness that is nice for the summer! Overall, a rather interesting beer, full of flavour and complexity and light on body and pungency - nice to sample and executed very classy - worth picking up if you can find it! I sampled this 65 cL bottle purchased from Crosstown Liqour Store in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada on 07-June-2015 for CA$7,99 sampled at home in Washington on the other end of the continent on 23-September-2015.

Draught at St. Augustine’s, Vancouver
Murky blond color with compact head. The aroma is very fruity, citrusy, yet delicate, lightly tropical. Dry smooth and sour mouthfeel at the same time; the malt profile is very light, maybe a touch of wheat, also moderately yeasty; but this beer plays everything on the hops, and in a very good way, well integrated. Expect low bitterness, and instead a citrusy and light sour final.
Next year could work differently on the malt background, but it’s an excellent beer also this year.
