This characterful session Saison is a true delight for the palate! Notes of white pepper, coriander, orange, freshly cut flowers, and ginger come together beautifully in this easy-drinking Belgian-style Farmhouse beer. The delicate balance of herbal hop aromatics and spicy yeast flavors make this beer light, spritzy and refreshing.

Breakside Amuse 5% on tap at Barbanco. A clear gold with a filmy white head. Fruity peach yoghurt type nose with a touch of spice. Soft mouthfeel and medium bodied. The taste is earthy ginger, celery, spicy. As it warms it melds into a pretty standard spicy saison. Alright.

On tap at the Alibi Room, pours a cloudy yellow with a small white head. Nose is very floral and a little spicy, with herbal notes. Flavour is unusual, with nice spiciness and herbal nots upfront on top of a floral Belgian yeast character. Not the most complex. It's quite spritzy on the finish. Not up to Breakside's usual standard, but still pretty solid.

Draught at St. Augustine’s, Vancouver
Cloudy blond color with compact head. A very dry Ale, with a strong spicy character from the yeast, a lot of coriander, and a light woody/vegetable not in the final. Not overly complex, but bold and solid.
Very good.

On tap. Pours a dark gold with light head. Lots of carbonation. Aromas of dried coriander and pepper, light banana/yeast and marshmallows. Flavors of plastic, corn, white pepper and a little bitter citrus peel. Something seems off...

Bomber. Pours a very clear yellow color with a large white head. A big malty nose, spices, some honey. Like a orange pekoe tea. A smooth big citrus flavor, toast, lemons, zesty, light herbal notes. The overall base is huge oranges, very sweet, but very drinkable. Nice smooth flavorful beer. Like a Belgian Pale Ale.
