Medium golden-orange color, high, foamy head that starts moving back quickly. Rich, malty aroma, medium sweetness, cereals and grains, biscuits, and hops. Possibly slightly skunked. Rich malt flavor, not at all overly sweet, strong, rich, good hopping. Biscuits strong. Cereals. Decently dry finish with hops and alcohol. Rather pleasant, though probably should have more subtle malt flavors for its strength. Doesn’t hide the alcohol well at all. Too bland.

07/04 0.33 l bottle courtesy of ogivlado, thanks! It poured darker golden body with smaller to medium sized head. A bit hoppy aroma, herbal, with notes of some sweet malt. In not so impressive way, all in all. Flavor was boring as well, malty sticky sweetness tasted with alcohol, simply there is nothing special here! Its thick body had longer sweet alcoholic finish. Not good...I had a feeling of drinking a malt liquor, more than some kind of an ale.

Bottle (brewed at the Comun Nuovo (BG) plant) shared with heavy, courtesy of ogivlado (thanks!) Poured an orange-gold body with a small white head that went away fast. Grainy, sticky malty nose. The taste is kinda flowery, but dry, and dusty in a bad way. Dull, some light lemony nose. Light notes of yoghurt show up and slightly herbal hopiness. Unpleasant bitter aftertaste. Boring. Could be worse but that doesn’t make it a good beer, especially if you take into considerations some other stronger golden ales, like those from Belgium.

Bottle: Poured a golden color with a white head. The aroma is sweet with malt and grass. The taste is very similar with lots of malts and grassiness.

Bottled (thanks omhper!). Good starter of the Stockholmvisit... Golden colour with mediumsized white head, leavs rich lace. Aroma is malts, hay and grass along with some mild caramel and alcohol. Flavour is mainly hay and grass along with some sweet malts. Quite watery palate, but still "full" as for the flavours. Easy to drink for being 7%.

(Bottle 33 cl) Clear, deep golden with a creamy, white head. Aroma is of malt and alcohol. Quite full-bodied, sweetish malty with notes of bread and grass and both bittering hops and alcohol showing in the finish. Fairly drinkable and not too bad for the style. 200407
