Bottle at Darkness Day. Pours a dark copper brown with small beige head that diminishes quickly. The aroma is strong wood, bourbon, roast. Medium body, chocolate, cardboard, wood, boozy finish, very good.

Bottle 750ml. @ [ Danish Ratebeer Summer Gathering 2015 (TEODRBSG15) ] - fonefan & Brugmansia House, Denmark. [ As Three Floyds Barrel Aged Alpha Klaus ]. [ Bottle # 281/423 ]. Clear dark black brown color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, dried fruit, chocolate, laber laver, vanilla, alcohol - bourbon. Flavor is light heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, bourbon, cherry, chocolate, vanilla, dark malt, dark fruit. Body is medium to full, texture is creamy, carbonation is soft. Bottle @ Danish Ratebeer Summer Gathering, 2015. Bottle 281/423. 2014 Vintage. Pours black with a creamy beige head. Roast, wood, bourbon and coffee. Full bodied. Vinous and sippable.

Bottle. Black with medium beige head. Aroma is roasted malts, chocolate, coffee, caramel and a little liquorice. Flavour is roasted malts, chocolate, coffee, medium sweet, oak, wood, little vanilla, little liqourice, hop and medium bitter.

Sampled @ Danish Summer Gathering 2015 Das Bier ist schwarz und hat eine geringe bräunliche Schaumkrone. Geruch intensiv röstmalzig, viel Schokoladig, Holzfass, aromatisch. Geschmack sehr schokoladig, eine Menge Vanille, Toffee, holzig, alkoholisch, sehr lecker!

Malzige Aromen von Vanille, leider mit wässrigem Hintergrund. Dunkel holzig, die Süße bleibt glücklicherweise in angenehmem Rahmen. Wenig herb, leider insgesamt auch nicht sonderlich aromatisch, Hat die Fasslagerung hier möglicherweise mehr Aromen entfernt als hinzugefügt? 11/10/9/9/11/9

Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Black with a light brown head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt, chocolate and bourbon. Flavor is quite sweet and rather bitter. Sweet and rather bitter finish. Oily. 290815

Bottle. Creamy lightbrown good mostly lasting head. Black colour. Heavy malty and moderate hoppy aroma. Heavy bitter flavor. barrel very present. Long moderate bitter finish. Creamy palate.

Sampled at 8th Danish Ratebeer Gathering, Ulfborg 2015, day 2. Opaque pitch black color, average sized beige to light brown head. Aroma is malts, some alcohol, wood. Taste malts, sweeter than I had thought it would be, wood, bitter in the finish, some roast. Medium to full body, oily texture, suitable carbonation. Very solid.
