"High quality belgian blond beer, masterpiece from the masterbrewers at Leffe". Refined bitterness and delicate hops aromas. Charles Nouwen, brewmaster of Leffe, traveled the world in search of the best hops. Whitbread Golding Hops is grown in the Poperinge region of Belgium. Leffe Royale Whitbread Golding is the original recipe for Leffe Royale, launched in 2012. Its delicate bitterness with citrus and resinous notes, reminiscent of that of banana or vanilla, as well as flowery aromas define this exceptional beer.

Re-rate based on the checklist. Old score: 7/3/7/4/16=3.7 Smell-weak, caramel, malt, Belgian. Foam- thin, caramel, Belgian yeast, malt. Head is small, white color. Sticks. Appearance- re-sealable bottle.Clear, orange amber color, weak carbonation so as some active carbonation inside. From - snifter Taste - malt, Belgian yeast, caramel, sweetness mixed with weak bitter notes. Generally quite neutral and easy drinking Belgian, but nothing that would wow me. The last time I tasted it - it seemed better.

330ml bottle. Clear copper colour with a large white head. Aroma is bread, stove fruit, maybe some spice. Flavour is similar with some banana thrown in fire food measure. Decent enough but I've had better

Bottle purchased in Corsica. Dark Amber, big fine head /medium lasting. Bready sweet aroma with some spiciness. Flavor is the sweet Belgian dubbel or tripel with raisins, shortbread, spices, and a mild hop contribution. Much more malt than hop bitterness. Way more interesting than the standard Leffe.

Schönes dunkles Kupfer im Glas, in der Nase Malz, Reife Trauben. Im Trunk wieder sehr dominantes Malz, dabei sogar fast süffig, Karamell, Trauben, Schoko, sehr lecker.
