Deze Nobele Europese hop wordt al eeuwen in Europa verbouwd. Om deze bijzonder mooie hop echt te kunnen proeven is deze hop gebruikt als bitterhop, aromahop en als dry hop. Tettnang geeft het bier een bijna aards karakter met de zoete tonen van druiven en de frisheid van sinaasappel.

Bottle @ Autumn Tasting, Ulfborg 2011. Pours hazy yellow with a fluffy white head and lacings. Nose is yeast and phenols. Herbs, spices and fruit. Dry, fruity and lemony hopbitter. Medium bodied. Dry end.

Bottle. Hazy dark yellow with giant foamy white head. Aroma is malt, citrus, fruit and yeast. Flavour is malt, citrus, fruit, caramel, medium sweet, hops and a little bitter.

Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Huge head with good duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are flowers, hops, crisp clean malt and notes of fruits.

Bottled. An unclear dark yellow beer with a yellowish head. The aroma has notes of straw, stale water, and malt. The flavor is malt, stale water, wet hay, and herb, leading to a dry finish.

cloudy yellow, smooth white head. malty aroma, slightly flowery, mild aroma. flavor is flowery, slightly malty, slightly sort of fruity, faint yeasty.

Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of yespr. Pours a cloudy opaque golden with a lacing white head. Horrible farty aroma maybe atop a little citric fruitiness. Thin body, yeasty and fruity with all sort of horrible tangs. Bitter, rough finish. All wrong. 290911

33 cL bottle. Pours hazy yellow with a small white head. Aroma is spiced and light hoppy herbal. Bitter, subdued fruity and light herbal. Ends dry, bitter and crisp hoppy into a bone dry finish.

Draught @ TBF ’11. Light yellow, hazy colour. Smells pretty nice. It’s a bit like a pilsner, but then a little bit more of a complex taste. Quite nice.

Hazy orange yellow color, firm head. Standard pilsener smell, kind of malty. Taste is good, nice pilsener taste. Medium body, medium carbonation.

Hazy murky orange color, huge cloudy white head. Peppery, fruity, orange peel aroma. Light to medium bodied. Very hoppy (for Belgian beer) flavor, peppery and fruity. Reminds me about Taras Boulba. Solid though quite yeasty.
