Another hoppy jewel in the Stone Crown. A relatively understated fruity hop and malt nose wafts from a hazy tan head. Predictably, a gripping hop profile leads the taste profile, activating the jowls and the roof of the mouth. Juicy Grapefruit and tropical fruit accents are fresh and three dimensional. The buscuity malt is an appropriate counterbalance to the hop celebration. mmmph.

Not a huge fan of the mega-hops style but pretty good. Pours gold w/white head, strong hops, alcohol flavors predominate.

Bottle. Wonderful aroma. May this is what all hop lovers should look for. This is a great sipping beer but more then one at a time is a little too much for a malt lover. I think the description says it all. Highly recommended.

aroma is awesome! so citrucy, and floral, its just shredding my sense of smell. Flavour is much of the same, just a shrdding of the taste buds! so much hops, and citrus. I LOVE IT! The bitterness is fierce, and to punches you in the mouth. amazing stuff!

Aroma of citrus, tropical fruits, grapefruit, pine, floral notes, hint of caramel malt, massive hops. Flavour is light sweet with a long bitter finish. Perfect balance and quite easily drinkable. This gets dangerously close to IPA perfection, it’s certainly my kind of IPA.

Tap at FOB, Rimini, Italy. Pours amber gold, transparent, with fine white foam. Aroma is malty same resinous, hoppy. Body is fairly dense, with average carbonation. Taste is rather bitter, even pungent. Final is long and bitter, very resinous and earthy.

RUIN ME! From the bottle numerous times. This has everything it should, aroma, color, taste, overall mouth feel, etc., but more importantly, it blends them so smoothly that you don’t know where one flavor ends and another begins. I prefer it to the Dogfish Head 90, but at this level we’re nit picking anyway. World Class IPA. On draught at Brewtopia ’04 Even better dispensed fresh from the keg! World class IIPA.

On tap. Slightly opaque golden body with a white head. Bold resiny hop notes in the aroma with some pine, peach, burnt sugar, goose berries and some brett. Taste of sugar syrup, apricot, pine, goose berries and grapefruits. Long lasting bittersweet finish. Great DIPA.

0.355 l can from 'Craftbeershop.com', 8.2% abv, of American origin, canned in January 2024. Almost clear, orangeish amber with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, white head. Sweetish, rather fruity-resiny aroma of orange jam, grapefruit, pine and some tobacco. Quite sweet, gently bitter, rather fruity-resiny taste of grapefruit, pine, orange jam, tangerine and a touch of tobacco, followed by a short, quite bitter finish. Medium to full body, smooth and slightly creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Great classic West Coast DIPA, haven't had such an authentic old school beer for a very long time. Please bring 'em back, f*** the haze craze.

355ml can. First time trying the US brewed version. Clear amber with a big white head. Aroma of grapefruit, resin, pine, marmalade. Taste is very strong and bitter, grapefruit, pine, very resinous, marmalade, caramel. Medium bodied. Proper old school WC IPA.
