We are the only constant user of peat-smoked malt in the U.S. craft beer industry. We love to use this beer as a base for incorporating interesting ingredients such as vanilla, chipotle and citrus.

From tap at Moeder Lambic Fontainas, Brussels. Aroma is smoked malt, coffee, some chocolate, roast. Flavour is light to moderate sweet with a nicely bitter finish. Medium bodied. Excellent balance between the smoke and the other flavours.

Ahhh, ypperlig leskende etter en dag med ugressluking og maling. Litt jernaroma, og slett ikke så veldig røykaktig.

Bottle. Aroma is smoked cheese, creaminess, maybe vanilla. Bit fruity, chocolate. Taste is good, lightly fruity, lots of roast, some cream, only a hint of smoke at the end. Pretty nice. Spiky.

Bottle. Deep dark brown color, almost black. Beechwood, cream and a bit of soap in the aroma. Medium bodied. Creamy, soapy flavor with beechwood, cheese and lychee. Long smoky aftertaste.
