Beginning with our traditional hard apple cider we then steep candied pecans. We make our own cinnamon roasted pecans that bring vanilla, cinnamon, and a nuttiness to this product that makes it a truly unique cider. Totally Roasted is semi-.sweet with a tart finish.

Perfectly clear, very light golden coloured body with a non-existent head that goes down faster than it popped up, but at least shows a ton of very large-bubble effervescence. Aroma of soft, dry apples with some more spiced elements, a bit of coffee or toasted grain element and a large pear component, but the main scent here is the dry apples of course. Ultra light-bodied; Strong dry apple flavours stand out here with only a tiny dose of sweetness and a very light spicey quality without much else, aside from a dose of pears. Aftertaste is very crisp, very easy-drinking and completely simplistic with a dry, grassy and hay-like profile with only the light spice notes around, and a dash of sweetness from honey in the end. Overall, a nice, dry and slightly sweet cider that doesn't have any complexities at all, but nice enough from Grand Rapids, but sampled back here in Washington. Glad to sample this one after my Red Wings beat the [local] Capitals earlier in the week. I sampled this twelve ounce can, purchased from Meijer [grocery] in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan on 05-August-2021 for US$1,79 sampled at my house here in Washington on 29-October-2021.

Can thanks to Drake! Highly carbonated, gold, small white head. Nose is apple, light vanilla, light cinnamon, light nuts. Flavor is quite good: fresh apple juice, cinnamon, light vanilla, roasted nuts. The flavors are subtle, but balance this out quite nicely. Enjoyable.

On tap at Vander Mill, pours a clear pale blonde, no head. Aroma brings out toasted pecans, a hint of cinnamon, and crisp apple acidity. Flavour is full of cinnamon, toasted pecans, and crisp apple acidity. That is a real nice addition of pecans and cinnamon. Really tasty.

Keg at Lost Valley. Clear golden. Aroma of sweet apples, brown sugar. Taste is sweet apples, earth, cinnamon, maple, brown sugar. Medium bodied, appreciate the bright cider under the darker ingredients. Nice.

16oz can. A pretty cool Cider. Dry, medium bodied. Pale yellow body. No real head. The aroma is quite unique...cinnamon, vanilla, pecan. Not in line with an Ice Cider or something of that magnitude, but quite an enjoyable beverage.

Sampled from a 16oz can this cider poured a yellow-gold color with a small foamy white head that faded quickly and left no lacing. The aroma was apple flesh and a hint of vague spices. The flavor was vanilla and cinnamon followed by apple flesh. Medium length finish. Medium body. Ok

Sampled at Lagunitas Beer Circus. I think I caught more of the vanilla and cinnamon than pecan in this, but I am not usually one to enjoy nut flavors. Definitely a spicy little cider, and there is a bit of more solid texture like it had picked up some firm pecan flesh. Just enough to set it pleasantly apart from most any other cider.

can - Pours pale yellow and smells of tart apples. The flavor is lightly sweet and tart. Soft carbonation. As with the other Vander Mill cider I’ve had it avoids the overly sweet character of so many ciders. That’s generally a good thing. I’m just puzzled by pecans and cinnamon they say it was made with. I had a hard time smelling or tasting those ingredients. It’s a good cider, but maybe some batches are too light on the added ingredients.

Yellow with no head. Fizzy body. Candied pecans, roasted nuts, tart acidic apple notes. Finishes sour and lightly nutty. Real enjoyable and interesting cider.
