The first beer to ever be brewed in Borgorose is still the most loved and appreciated. Inspired by traditional British India Pale Ales it has intense aromas given by American aromatic hops. Amber in color, it has a medium body, the aromas are clearly of citrus fruits and peppery. Carbonation is slightly low as traditional to its style. The mouthfeel leads to a persistent and intense bitterness.

Roodkleurig bier met schuim. Smaak is bitter hoppig en fruitig met iets van druiven, wat bessen en ananas. Heel goed hoor.

Eingetrübt bernsteinfarben mit weißer Schaumkrone. Malziger, leicht brotiger Geruch. Geschmacklich malzig, fruchtig mit Karamell, hopfig mit Anklängen an Citrus. Mittlere Süße mit mittlerer Bitterkeit, mittlerer Körper mit spürbarer Kohlensäure.

This bottle from Beery Xmas adventkal is just ill kept... it’s harsh and astringent. Even stale, thoughbest before is 15 months away.

Fles thuis geprobeerd met Roelzie. Het is een troebel koperkleurig bier met een volle beige schuim. Het heeft een hoppige en harsige geur. De smaak is moutig, hoppig en bitter.

75cl bottle from LowCostBeer: BB Mar 2021. Drank in the afternoon sun on my patio on 17th Apr 2021. Out of date by 6 weeks, shared with my wife and son. Poured a cloudy amber bronze, off-white head. Caramel/malty molasses in both the nose and taste, semi-sweet and almost interesting, I actually liked it, wife and son not so sure.

Smell- weak malt, caramel, some other stuff. Foam- thin, some roast, some bitter notes. Head is small, almost tiny, creamy white, brown-ish color. Appearance-brewer bottle cap, color changes depending on the beer, this is not unique, however, but still, the bottle is, I can't give 3 here so it is 4. Bit cloudy brown-red color, no carbonation. From- snifter Taste - malty, faint roast, weak bitterness, some caramel. feels sticky, aftertaste is bitter and bit roasty. Not bad, nut nothing over the top.

Bottle. Pours hazy lightish copper brown with airy off-white head. Clear aroma of malt, caramel, hops and spice, with notes of yeast and fruit. Sweetish flavour of yeast and caramel malt, with notes of nuts, hops and fruity touches. Estery and nutty aftertaste with malty touches. A nice one.
