The first beer to ever be brewed in Borgorose is still the most loved and appreciated. Inspired by traditional British India Pale Ales it has intense aromas given by American aromatic hops. Amber in color, it has a medium body, the aromas are clearly of citrus fruits and peppery. Carbonation is slightly low as traditional to its style. The mouthfeel leads to a persistent and intense bitterness.

Creamy, just white head stayed well on a hazy dark orange coloured body. Very sweet aroma of peach, melon & haribos. Nice thick body feel, smooth to the fore & a tang on the back. Slightly malty on the tip & this very quickly turns across the tongue to a fruity blast of sweet citrus, orange, nectarine, melon, grapefruit & quite hoppy.

Sep. ’16. A 0.33 l bottle at La Regina del Formaggio, Split. It poured a hazy copper body with medium sized head. Light aroma of caramel, some malty brown sugar, dried fruits and touch with ripe citrus hops. Flavor was lightly bitter, herbal hoppy with equally dominating caramel and fruity malts. Medium to full in body with quite a long finish, which was again a play of herbal and earthy, even peppery bitterness and brown sugar, caramel and fruity malts. Very pleasant malty APA.
