The first beer to ever be brewed in Borgorose is still the most loved and appreciated. Inspired by traditional British India Pale Ales it has intense aromas given by American aromatic hops. Amber in color, it has a medium body, the aromas are clearly of citrus fruits and peppery. Carbonation is slightly low as traditional to its style. The mouthfeel leads to a persistent and intense bitterness.

Bottle at Pizza Pilgrims, Exmouth Market London. I just wasnttaken by this. It was very rich, lots of hops AND lots of malt flavour. Meh. Maybe need a winter retry (6/5/18). ---------- Bottle at Hotel Petrus, Riscone. Felt much more special; mature beer. Deep flavour and colour with gentle APA/IPA hopped flavours. Nnice and mature. 3.1 to 3.6.

Bottle from a Delhaize in Ghent. Pours clear amber with a lasting, frothy, off-white head. The aroma contains caramel, nuts, dark & red fruits, yeast, sugar, (cookie) dough. It tastes light malty/dough-like sweet and light to medium hoppy bitter; dry, hoppy, bit yeasty finish. Medium body, slick texture, soft to fizzy carbonation. Crafty, subtle, enjoyable.

Bottle, 0.75l. Aroma of yeast, citrus, tropical fruit, resin, vanilla and cereals. Pours hazy pale brown color with thin creamy off-white head and many floating particles with average sparkling appearance. Taste starts medium sweet malty, following is hoppy, fruity and resinous, mouthfeel is smooth, while finish is pleasantly bitter. Medium to full body, creamy texture and average carbonation in palate. Real royal pale ale...
