Starts off sweet and finishes off dry, with notes of coffee and bittersweet chocolate from a combination of roasted barley and chocolate malt. Oatmeal gives this beer a smooth, rich body. Hopped with Northwest grown English varietals of Fuggles and East Kent Goldings alongside Northwest native Willamette hops.

5oz pour at brewery. Pours black with beige head. Aroma has roasted malt. Flavour has roasted malt. Pretty simple, decent stout but nothing special.

Poured from the tap. Black with small beige head. Roasty, mild oatmeal, some cocoa. Decent. Simple, but well made.

On tap. Pours an opaque black with a small, creamy, long lasting, light brown head that laces nicely. Sweet aroma of chocolate malt, caramel and light roast. Sweet flavour of chocolate malt, caramel, roast and oatmeal with a dry, mildly bitter coffee finish. Light body with a watery texture and soft carbonation. Just ok.

Light roast and some unfermented tang. Black pour with decent head and lacing. Tangy, out of style finish like mullets. Some caramel.

Okay dark beidge head and brown-copper body with slight translucency. Aroma of burnt barley trying to be coffee. Flavour is a rotting burnt barley, vegetable notes, odd cloying attempt at creaminess. Really weak on the mouth. Sadly not a good effort.

Coke color,thick tan head.Tinny roast nose.Light roast palate,sweet mid,light bitterness. Bland and boring. Saying this is average would be a compliment

Draft - Roasty malts and a bit of brine and sweetness. Jet black with a brown decent head. Roasty malts and a dry finish. Basic, but nicely done and easy drinking.

Med brown with a fudgey aroma. Fudgey character with light nuttiness, a basic stout.
