Starts off sweet and finishes off dry, with notes of coffee and bittersweet chocolate from a combination of roasted barley and chocolate malt. Oatmeal gives this beer a smooth, rich body. Hopped with Northwest grown English varietals of Fuggles and East Kent Goldings alongside Northwest native Willamette hops.

On tap at Bridge, pours black with a reddish tint and a small tan head. Aroma brings out lots of dry oatmeal and unsweetened powdery cocoa. Flavour is a good mix of roast, oatmeal, coffee and dry cocoa. Great blend of flavours with no element above anything else. Very solid stout.

Draught at St. Augustine’s, Vancouver
black color with compact head. Smooth beer, but the aroma is quite feet/cheesy, and the flavor as well is rather yeasty; the roastiness is mild and not aggressive; correct bitterness.
Ok Stout, monodimensional, and with too much yeast.
