Aroma of roasted malt, dark chocolate, massive coffee, mocha, some dark fruits. Flavour is medium sweet with a moderate to medium bitter finish. Delicious coffee dessert beer.

Bottle. Almost black and opague. Mocha coffee and dark chocolate in the aroma. Malty sweetish mocha coffee flavor with chocolate milk. Alcoholic. Coffee bitter aftertaste. Well balanced. Great beer!

Converting ticks to ratings. Had this back in '12, from bottle. Had lots of coffee, some chocolate, berries, light ashy. Didn't really like this, although I think it's time for a re-rate.

Refrigerated 12 oz. brown bottle poured into a glass. Black with small beige, medium body, medium carbonation, and small lacing. Taste coffee, dark malt, and oats.

Tap at GABF. Pours a dark brown with small beige head that lasts. The aroma is roast coffee, dark chocolate, vanilla. Medium body, roasted malt, chocolate, vanilla, nice booze finish, really enjoyed this.

Bottle from Tap East, Westfield Stratford, London. Poured black with a coffee coloured head. Aroma of roasted malt, vanilla, dark chocolate, coffee, and dark fruits. Medium sweet, medium roasted bitterness. Full bodied, rich slock texture. Finish is dry, roasted coffee, and chocolate. Very good.
