473ml can.
Typical lager aroma, some grains, some malt, not much hops, almost smells like a macro lager.......uh oh!
Flavour is grassy, and grainy. Not an awful lager, but not a great one either.

Smells like sugar water, slight sweetness. Pours golden with a small fizzy head. A kind of clingy weird palate that sticks to your mouth in the wrong kind of way. On tap at teds collision.

Originally rated August 2004. European style lager, craft brewed for the smoothness" is written on the bottle. Pours a golden colour with a good white head, and a great amount of lacing. Low on carbonation and a malt scent. Mildly bitter with a sweet (caramel) aftertaste in the back of the tongue. Wellington’s least good brew, but still a good summer beer.

Another day, another lager.... I often wonder about the appeal of a microbrewer making another lager in this world. Unless you’re convinced you can create the most spectacular lager in the universe, why bother? There are so many other kinds of under-attempted beers out there! Unless you have an obsessed regional following that you can get away with it, it seems like such a waste of time. Yet still I’m intrigued to know if this lager will be "the one" that blows the rest away. Poured into a lager glass at 5.0 celsius it has a pale bright yellow body and barely any head on top. Soft corn and sugar aroma. The flavour is a very light mix of corn and malt with a dry finish. Very light and easy to drink, hard to pick out of a crowd. And so, the quest continues.....

Canette 500ml.

(can) clear pale yellow, medium white head; floral aroma, faint bread flavour; overall - uninteresting ’light beer’ type

473 ml can from Harry! Nose of grassy hops and yeasty grain. Yellow with a big white head. Flavor is grain with some light bitterness and pepperiness.

Trailhead Wellington. Dark yellow colored ale with small head and not a whole lot of retention. Aroma is mostly subtle floral malt and very little else. Taste is a balance mix of floral malt with some dryness at the ends. This one lacks character overall and is probably not the best beer from this brewery.

Golden beer with no head. Nice biscuity malt aroma with a sweet malt and light hops and applepie. Some woody notes to the malt in this lager. Medium body. (on tap)
