Cask - Toffee and twig. Clear copper with almost no head. Up front twig and some toffee in the finish. A very decent bitter.

Cask via the Fisherman’s Cottage during the IoW Jolly. It pours clear deep amber with a decent off-white head. The nose is brown bread, brown sugar, caramel, fruit cake and toasty grain. The taste is bitter-sweet, woody, leather, varnish, earth, dried fruits, biscuit and some toffee. Solid ESB action.

Cask (Newport Ale House, Newport) - Golden in colour. Biscuity malt and a hint of citrus in the aroma. Moderately bitter taste with grain, biscuity malt and lemon detected. Drinkable, but notihng outstanding.

Fra cask/gravity på den koselige - og knøttlille - Newport Ale House, Isle of Wight 24 Jan 14. Veldig mørk brun. 0 skum. God karamellaroma. Smaken mer karamell & knekk. Blir litt tørr i avslutninga. God - men litt uvariert.
