355mL can, pours golden / copper with a medium white head. Aroma of potent pine hops, grapefruit and citrus. Flavour is a piney hop blast all the way through, with hints of grapefruit, citrus, and a little caramel sweetness. Wonderful IPA.

Can - Clear light copper orange color with an off-white sturdy head. Moderate piney grassy aroma. Standard IPA flavors on the Piney and soapy side, with a decent body and generaly well ballanced. Good IPA...IN A CAN !

Beer #2 in tonight’s vertical IPA tasting. 12 oz can into shaker. The aroma here is awesomely piney, just like 21st Amendment’s, but maybe not quite as assertive. This beer also has a smoky quality to it and not as much malt in the nose. Compared to the first beer, this one almost smells like Pacific Northwest hops that have grown a bit of mold on them or something. It just isn’t as crisp smelling, but it’s still pretty fantastic regardless, if that makes any sense. Pours a slightly hazy gold--same hue as the first beer--with not as nice of a head, but with equally impressive lacework. Taste is fairly bitter, and it lingers. Carbonation is a little low here, just like the first beer. Overall, not as impressive as 21st Amendment’s, but it’s still a nice juicy IPA.

This opens with a clear golden body that sits below a tall, thick, long lasting white head. Subdued malt and hop aroma. The flavor while not unpleasant is very low for what anyone would expect from a good IPA.

Shipped to my by my wife on a trip out west. Sampled from a 12 oz can this beer poured a dark orange-amber color with huge beige head that lingered and produced great lacing. The aroma was sweetish grapefruit and pine with a light nutty undertone. The flavor was solid grapefruity and piney hops with sweet malts, lemon, nut and caramel elements blending nicely beneath the everpresent hoppiness. the finish was long and hoppy. Fairly full bodied. Quite solid.

Sample from a can at the "Portland? Psh More Like Beerland" tasting on 03/10/10. The beer is a clear orange color with a medium and frothy off-white head that evaporates to an outer ring eventually. Thin rings of lacing on the glass. Floral hops and caramel malt in the nose. Medium body with a nice floral hops flavor that is is moderately bitter. Notes of sweet malt and grapefruit as well. The finish is hoppy with a lingering citrus aftertaste. Solid IPA all around.
