Bottle from andrewje41 while watching some god awful movie. Deep dark pour. Nose is espresso and light fruits. Tastes of dark cocoa nibs, espresso, earth, plum, and light chalk. Nice smooth palate. Despite all the adjuncts rather subdued.

Draft at PreFunk Nampa. Straight up otter, almost black k with ring of beige head. Aroma seems faint, but this following the LD pecan porter, so hard to tell. Taste is pure roasty, lasting bitterness.

Dark with a deep creamy head. Powerful coffee, roasted malts, cocoa, sweet chocolate aroma. It’s body has the consistency of thick and creamy chocolate milk. Flavor starts roasted malts and coffee, milk chocolate, molasses remnants, and some burnt malt. A hefty Baltic.

Sample at GABF 10/03/2014, thanks to my sis for assistance with note-taking. Flat black pour with a medium beige head that dissipates quickly to a film. Stringy lacing. Coffee, malt and chocolate in the nose. Medium body with flavors of roasted malt, milk chocolate and coffee. Slight hops too. The finish is roasty with a coffee aftertaste. Above average overall.

Draught at the brewery
Black color with brown head. It has some aroma of wood-oven bread. Good body strength, roasted malt and coffee flavor, some ashes, strong bitterness, and resiny final. The problem with the coffee is that it conceals the qualities of a true Baltic Porter and transforms it into a Stout clone.

On Tap at The Local in Bellingham, WA Rich dark brown with a nice light tan head, Roasted malty aromas with a good amount of coffee. Not over powering. A Baltic I thin should be heavier and fuller, but his had nice flavors and was very tasty
