Coffee sourced direct from the farmer in Brazil, fair trade cocoa nibs from the Democratic Republic of Congo, chocolate from Theo's in Seattle, water from Bellingham, hops from Yakima, and specialty malt from Europe dance together in this BIG Baltic porter... a true Global Mutt.

Light golden brown, a touch of molasses and nuttiness. Sweet, and a light nutty character. The malts have promise, thereβs a decent coffee finish, but light and thin for Baltic.

On tap at Wander, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out good quality espresso beans, with a touch of sweetness. Flavour reveals loads of coffee, followed by a little chocolate, and roast. Really well-balanced with a dry roasty, coffee finish. Very nice.

Draft - Huge roast notes and some coffee. Jet black with a rich beige head. Lots of roast, cold pressed coffee and a slight sourness. Lots of roast coffee and much lighter on the pallet than expected. Nitro - Coffee is much better along with looks and mouthfeel. Not sure if it is a recipe change or just the nitro.
