Nice, pleasant and easy drinkable beer. Clear dark golden in the glass and a fine head, Fine intensity in the aroma, Balanced sweetness and a fine carbonation level, Easy to drink. Fruity, toffee, bread and some spices in the flavor. [Bottle at Le Poechenellekelder in Brussels, Belgium]

De Ranke Franc Belge, Fläschchen von Jef. - Kupferrot, leicht trüb; üppige Schaumkrone. - In der Nase leise toastiges Malz, obergärige Hefe aber ohne die übliche parfümierte Süße, vielmehr zarte Säure, grundiert von gedämpfter hopfenwürziger Hopfung mit ein wenig Orangenschale. - Antrunk weich nussig-toastmalzig mit charakteristischer, kerniger Hopfung, sehr aromatisch hopfenwürzig und mit der leisen Altersnote, die belgischen Hopfen auszeichnet. Milder rezent, vollmundig. Im Abgang solide grasige und orangenbittere Hopfenbittere. - Außerordentlich automatisches, kernig bitteres und doch rundes, ja elegantes Amber Ale. Großartig! 0.33 l bottle at Ambasada, Zagreb. RBESG23. Hazy orange to amber, small off-white head. Intense phenolic, spice, plastic, tangerine peel, doughy. Sweetness, nice fruity touch, dried fruit, orange peel. Smooth, nice caramely and toasty background. Light body, soft carbonation. Dry finish with a hint of cinnamon.

Bottled 330ml. -at Ambasada Zagreb. Dark golden/amberish coloured, mediumsized off-white head, lively carbonation, fruity and light yeasty nose. Sweet malty, fruity, light yeasty, discreet spicy and touch of banana in the finish.

Bottle drunk after installing Katja Sprint in the Wintergarden. Nice earthy-spicy, bready nose on a hazy amber beer with a substantial head. Very unique deep caramel flavor, this must have some good Kandi sugarz, which are well balanced by super smooth bitterness. Really tasty one!

Bottle. Hazy amber with a huge white foam, dissipates slowly leaving lots of lacings. Aroma of herbs, grass, dust, some orange, breadiness. Taste is moderate bitter, oily texture, slight bitter finish with alcohol.
