473mL can. Pours black with tan head. Aroma full of bready malts and a touch of espresso. Flavour has toasted malts and a little bit of butter hops. Not bad.

473ml can. Pours an opaque black with a medium, creamy, short lived, tan head that laces. Aroma of roasted malt, dark chocolate, tobacco, licorice, ash, coffee and earth. Sweet flavour of roasted malt, molasses, dark chocolate, licorice, dates and ash in a dry, bitter coffee finish. Medium body with an oily texture and soft carbonation. A little thin for the style, but still ok.

47,3 cl can @ Antitasting, BBE Aroma has ash and tobacco. Also licorice. Flavour has toffee typical to English ales, tobacco and ash. In blind tasting I'd say this is a 5% English stout.

Has a decent darker beige head of some creaminess and a slightly transparent dark ruby body. Aroma is watery roasted barley, soft black coffee, and nothing else. Flavour is a nice mellow mix of coffee and molasses, good smoothness, nice mouthfeel and not overbearing. Alcohol is well hidden, though that shouldn't be too surprising as this is on the lower end of an imperial stout strength. Which ain't so bad as it's drinkable. Go get trashed somewhere else.

Bottle. Pours deep ruby black, small tan head, dissipates quickly, some lacing. Aroma is roasted malts, burned and ashtray notes. Flavor is light sweet, light bitter, roasty, burned, a bit of rubber. Light body, a bit of acidity.

Dark brown, sweet with earthy dark sugars, balanced hoppiness and an earthy finish. Good rich porter brew.

On tap at the Alibi Room, pours black with a medium tan head. Aroma brings out light roasted malt upfront, and some bready notes. Flavour is pretty restrained, with notes of light toasted malt and very mellow cocoa notes. Light-bodied, but at least no off-notes. It's okay, but leaves a lot to be desired.

Draught at St. Augustine’s, Vancouver
Black color with creamy brownish head. Light aroma of roasted malt. Smooth mouthfeel; the body is lean, not much residual sugars; roasted malt flavor, balanced, not burnt or ashy, with a light milky touch; correct bitterness.
Not exciting but quite good; not exactly imperial, more like a "1½ Stout".

Dark brown color. Smells like an ashtray, dark chocolate but harsh and not good. Sour ashtray shit. Blah. Totally crap.
