Brown bottle, 750 ml, best before Sept 17 2012, from and with Karl Probst (Danke!), savoured on July 20 2012; eye: coppery, clear, no effervescence, tiny sheet of beige head, slight lacing; nose: malt, citrusy, "dirty socks"; mouth: malt, citrusy, "dirty socks", caramel, dry finale in hops with light presence of caramel, medium body, mildly bitter, lightly sweet, lightly harsh texture; overall: fine FRANÇAIS Bouteille brune, 750 ml, meilleure avant Sept 17 2012, de et avec Karl Probst (Danke!), savourée le 20 juillet 2012; œil : cuivrée, limpide, pas d’effervescence, petite couverture de mousse beige, très légère dentelle; nez : malt, citrique, « p’tits chaussons »; bouche : malt, citrique, « p’tits chaussons », caramel, finale sèche en houblon avec légère présence de caramel, corps moyen, moyennement amère, légèrement sucrée, texture légèrement rugueuse; en résumé : bien

A hazed amber IPA with a thin off white head. In aroma, smooth British hops with fruity caramel malt. In mouth, a nice herbal IPA with nice British hops, oily mouthfeel, citrus notes. Cask at Ontario Cask IPA Challenge, April 21, 2012.

Smells sweet and floral with light fruit. Really good drink, full of body - a whole progression of tastes that end in hoppiness. Not super bitter, but still quite good. Interesting. Cask at Castro’s.
