650ml,bottle purchased at tamarak liquors in rocky mountain house, alberta.
Hazy golden/orange pour, with a large rocky, sticky beige head. Thick aroma of spruce needles, candied citrus peel, sticky, bitter grapefruit pith, and some typical hoppy soapiness. The mouth feel is thick, and the carb is low, but effective. The finish is very bitter, highly bitter. Big pithy citrus notes, with thick pine resins. This bottle is old, but its holding up quite nicely.

Pours orange/amber with a large white head.Nose shows sweet malt, booze, pine and some sweet passion fruit and orange marmalade too.Similar flavours, lots of sweet clean malt but lots of piny, resinous hops and a little pear and lychee too.Could use a bit more carbonation.

Rich deep orange and light copper coloured body with a thick, four centimetre tall tan head. Aroma of rich hops coupled with a ton of sugars and citrus notes - strong and potent. Full-bodied; Chewy hop and malt flavours at first with a definite emphasis on sugars and citrus components with the hops very grapefruity and citrus all with a sweet and chewy malt flavour. Aftertaste is rich and strong with alcohol notes, some light citrus and herbs coming out as well as the rich, resinous hops. Overall, a nice imperial IPA with a strong finish and unfortunately still showing a lot of alcohol burn. I sampled this 65 cxL bottle purchased from Total Wine in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida on 28-December-2013 for US$7.99 sampled with friends on New Years Eve 2013 in Orlando, Florida.

22 ounce bottle into tulip glass; no bottle dating, but was released recently. Pours moderately hazy golden orange color with a 2 finger dense off white head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Spotty soapy lacing clings around the glass. Aromas of big tangerine, pineapple, grapefruit, peach, mango, orange zest, lemon zest, floral, grass, pine, light caramel, bread, and floral earthiness. Damn nice aromas with good complexity of hop notes with moderate malt balance; and good strength. Taste of big tangerine, pineapple, mango, peach, grapefruit, orange zest, lemon zest, floral, grass, pine, light caramel, bread, and floral earthiness. Good amount of earthy pine bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of tangerine, pineapple, peach, mango, grapefruit, orange/lemon zest, floral, grass, pine, light caramel, bread, and floral earthiness on the finish for a while. Damn nice complexity of hop flavors with moderate malt balance; with a moderately crisp malt/bitterness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and medium-full bodied; with a lightly creamy, crisp, and moderately sticky mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is well hidden with only a small warming present after the finish. Overall this is an excellent DIPA! All around great balance and complexity of bright hop flavors and moderate malt presence; and very smooth and crisp to sip on for the ABV. A very enjoyable offering.

22oz bomber pours with a gold body that has a slight haze (hop haze I’m hoping) that supports a tall off white head of foam. The aroma offers up a bowl of freshly wedged citrus and a few mango pieces that has firm resiny bitter hop edge to it. Behind those hops are thin slivers of malt sweetness. The taste starts thick bold and juicy with malt sweetened grapefruit, tangelo, lime and mango. It then quickly moves into robust levels of hop bitterness and resiny hop oil notes with faint sweeet citrus gummy bears. Damn. This is a nice rich robust IIPA.

Deutlich hopfiger Antrunk, blumig. Angenehme Herbe, vollmundig. Intensiv bleibend, leicht grasig, weich. Die Blumigkeit wird auch im Mittelteil absolut in den Vordergrund gestellt, wenig helles Malz. 10/12/12/12/10/12

Draft. Amber beer with a cream head. Tropical fruit and grapefruit aroma. Grapefruit and tropical fruit flavor with backing caramel. Medium bodied. Good bitterness. Grapefruit and tropical fruit linger with backing caramel and light pine.

22 oz. bottle, pours a clear copper with a small white head. Aroma brings out loads of resinous hops and a big caramel backbone. Flavour is very much the same, with a bit more residual sweetness than I like in my IIPAs. Drinkable in smaller amounts until the sweetness becomes a bit cloying. Not a sugar bomb, but still a bit too much. Good, but sub-standard for the style.

Pours slightly hazy dark golden color with off white head. Big pine aroma with some citrus and biscuit malts. Bitter pine flavor with moderate sweetness and some citrus. Medium body with average carbonation and a slightly syrupy mouthfeel.
