Refrigerate red brown bomber (650 ml) poured into a glass. Opaque dark brown, with huge beige head. Aroma is chocolate banana, medium body, well carbonated, and little lacing. Taste is chocolate banana, dark malt, bread, molasses, and some wheat esters.

On tap at Alibi Room. Pours a very dark brown with a tan head. Aroma and taste are sweet, with fruity-berry notes (like cranberry), roasted malt, slightly bready. Where is regular banana and stuff?! :-) Quite good, though.

Cloudy medium brown, has a yeasty and slightly floral aroma. Very sweet, a bit alcoholic as well, with accents of dates, candied orange peel, banana, and maybe a touch of chocolate. I’m not nuts about it, but it fits the style nicely.

Draft - Dark malts, raisin, bread and toffee. Cloudy brown with a rich brown head. Clove, mint, molasses, dark malts, raisin and more. Really nice, I think this is a winner.

Wow. This is surprisingly well done. Reminds me a little of Aventinus in taste and aroma. Pours sediment-filled brown with good head lacing. Aroma has nice florals with a little sour mash on finish and some sweetness. Booze incognito. Their best beer by a long shot. On tap at brewpub.

Bottle, thanks Daniel! Orangepeel, mint and preserved apricot aromatics with fresh hop overtones. Cloudy red chestnut, creamy amber head. Light Rumtopf, rye bread, plums, orangepeel in the background. Roast grain, pepper, restrained yeasty notes follows, wonderfull grassy and citric hop finish. Chewy, yet dry and sparkly mouthfeel. Dark bread, lemonpeel and pine aftertaste. Moreish bold and fresh rendition of a really difficult style - I am well impressed.
