Draft.- Roast malts and milk chocolate. Black with a thin beige head. Great roast mats and mellow chocolate. Next to no bitterness and a great oatmeal mouthfeel. Great on cask.

Jesus, when does the punishment end? Why bother? The aroma in this is brutal. Unabashed booziness. This is probably the worst stout I’ve ever had. Pours dark brown with no lacing, no head. Finishes slightly sweet. Aroma malt that tastes lagery with unbalanced booze and strange malt. I was willing to show a good spirit through the lagers and bitters, but this is straight abuse. On tap at brewpub.

Nice black body with a faint ruby hue; okay bit of beige, the darker variety, sitting on top. Aroma is roasted barley, roasted enough to provide some spicy notes and no apparent sweetness. Flavour is a bit over-roasted for barley, almost turning into ash and not converting into some of those nicer stout flavours; alas. Mouthfeel is a little weak too. It’s a below average porter.

Draught at the brewpub, hand pulled
Almost black color. It has the aroma of the coffee brewed in the office. And the flavor too. Just a bit sweeter, less dry, maybe more fruity. Very common.

tap at the brewpub - Pours dark brown with a thin head. The aroma is roast malts and coffee. It has a flavor to match in a medium to full bodied, lightly carbonated brew. This stout goes down smooth with a fairly sweet finish.

Tap. Toasted oxidized coffee aroma Deep brown, golden brown low foamy head. Unexpectedly complex flavor:Roasted grain, toffee, coffee, a bit maple syrup, rasins. Long lasting coffee and candied nut aftertaste. Medium to light body, smooth mouthfeel.

Dark brown, no real head to speak of. Aroma of demerara, with hints of prunes. The flavour is toffeeish, slightly earthy with notes of brown sugar and light chocolate. Not all that roasty - has a foreign-stouty kind of character. Hint of black malt tartness in the finish.
