very dark pour, looks black until you hold it to the light and see it’s actually a very dark red. NIce aroma of raspberries, and some chocolate. Reminds me of raspberry licorice dipped in milk chocolate. Theflavor is nice, and sweet, some more of the raspberry comes through with a light roastiness that follows. The finish is a little thin, and it leaves a slight sour note. Not a bad effort at all!

Good very light base stout. Dry. Raspberry is a bit oily. Decent beer, too fruity. Co-op sk

Draught at St. Augustine’s, Vancouver
Dark mahogany color with creamy beige head. Very light aroma of roasted malt. The mouthfeel is dry and dusty, with some roasted malt flavor, very light raspberry touch, light acidity: ordinary bitterness.
Not a bad beer, but just I can’t see an interest here.

A clear brown porter with a thin mocha head. In aroma, sweet fruity chocolate malt with light raspberry notes. In mouth, sweet chocolate with sour cherry finish, raspberry jam, light bodied, OK. OttBottShare March 2014.

Bottle - Roasted malts, chocolate and slight raspberry. Jet black with a thin brown head. Raspberry dominates right out of the gate followed by the roasted malts and chocolate undertones. A bit sweet which sits on the palate but not bad.

Bomber from the LCBO and last from this batch of brews, from this brewery, for this time. Pours a dark brown colour with a light beige head that has average retention, but not much lace. Roasted malts aroma balanced by the mild berries. The mouthfeel is kind of watery (expected a bit of tart), but easy going down. The taste is light as well with some notes of chocolate and raspberries. Hints of hop show up in there. Nothing too fancy, but a refreshing lightly-fruity porter.

Smells like raspberry mostly. Pours dark brown with quickly disappearing head. Pretty high carbonation. Taste has coffee with the raspberry, some roast malts. It’s alright, a little better than I expected. Bottle from lcbo.
