Originally rated December 2006. This new one from Muskoka pours a cloudy golden-beige colour with a big white frothy head. Retention is superbe with creamy lacing all around. Great hefeweizen nose with the wheat, yeast, spices and bananas. No bubblegum in this one. The mouthfeel is quite light and creamy. Taste is pretty mild though, with some banana bread and hardly any aftertaste. Nice to see on Ontario brewer of this caliber do a hefeweizen. Pretty good overall, just missing some punch in the flavours (even with all of the bottle’s sediment).

Canette 473ml. De couleur dorée et voilée. Nez de levures fruitées (agrumes et bananes sucrées, notes de poires, traces de pêches) et épicées (clou de girofle, léger de coriandre, notes de poivre), moyen de gomme balloune, léger de blé avec des notes de houblon herbeux et de pain. Moyenne-mince en bouche avec un pétillement moyen et aux petites notes croustillantes ainsi qu’une texture aux notes crémeuses. Goût de levures fruitées (bananes sucrées, moyen-léger d’agrumes, traces de poires et de pêches) et moyennement épicées (clou de girofle, traces de coriandre) lors de l’entrée en bouche auquel se rajoute un moyen goût de blé, des notes de pain et des traces de gomme balloune puis en finale l’on retrouve des notes de houblon herbeux avec un léger regain de levures épicées (poivre très doux). Post-goût moyen, composé d’un goût de levures fruitées (pelures de bananes, notes de zest d’agrumes) et de notes de blé. Version bouteille 750ml sous le nom "Summer Weiss": le goût d’agrumes et de gomme balloune semble plus prononcé...

Can thanks to bu11zeye. Pours with a huge, off-white head and a hazy golden body. Aroma of banana, clove, plastic, caramel and vanilla. Taste is vanilla, banana milkshake, and goodness. Medium bubbles and a dry finish.

Can, 473 ml, best before 20 AUG 09, purchased at the LCBO, savoured on November 4 2009; eye: amber, clear, minimal effervescence, white head that disappears completely, no lacing; nose: wheat, slight spices, banana; mouth: wheat, light coriander, banana, bubble gum, maple water, finale in wheat with light presence of coriander, light body, slick texture, quite carbonated, lightly acidic; overall: correct FRANÇAIS Canette, 473 ml, meilleure avant 20 AUG 09, achetée à la LCBO, savourée le 4 novembre 2009; œil : ambrée, claire, effervescence minime, mousse blanche qui disparaît complètement, pas de dentelle; nez : froment, très léger épices, banane; bouche : froment, léger coriandre, banane, gomme balloune, eau d’érable, finale en froment avec légère présence de coriandre, corps léger, texture coulante, très carbonatée, légèrement acide; en résumé : correct

Can: Poured a lightly hazy dirty orangey color ale with a rather large foamy head with average retention and no lacing. Aroma of bubblegum and banana is very nice. Taste is also a nice mix between some banana bread and bubblegum 3ith some quite delectable wheat malt. Body is about average with great carbonation. Very well done with some really interesting ester.

This Hefeweizen poured a very light yellow colour with a bright white head. Scents include pineapple / ripe fruit, peppery grass and a little yeast. First taste was mildly yeasty with a little hop thrown in for a slight bitter finish. Alot like other hefwiezens, but not as yeasty as I’ve had before.

Hazy golden weizen with a thin white creamy head. Bananas and cloves with light sulfur in aroma. In mouth, a classy weizen with bananas and clovs, and light lemony notes. An OK weizen. 6 pack 12.95$ at beerstore in Ottawa. 6-3-7-3-13
A hazed yellow golden weizen with a thin white head. In aroma, nice bananas and cloves, light lemon, very nice. In mouth, a classic smooth weizen with bananas and cloves, very nice and smooth. Summer Weiss, 750 ml. Tasted June 18 2011. 7-3-8-3-13
