Bomber from Made in Oregon. Pours translucent copper with a slight white head. Aroma of citrus with some pretty brown sugary malt. Med body. Flavor is lots of citric hop with some pretty sweet caramel. A hop burn builds. This is not a NW harsh hop thing. It’s a very hoppy, smooth, lightly burning hop thing. Lots of redundancy there, but it’s appropriate. The burn continues to build, and the malt slowly sinks towards the sunset. Finishes pretty balanced surprisingly.

Bottle - Rich grapefruit, resin and a dark malt background. Clear dark copper with a rich off white head. Dark malts with a candy like sweetness, piney with a hit of bitterness that has a long finish. A little booze and burn in the finish, but otherwise a nice IIPA.

650 ml bottle. Pours a clear copper with full head. Aromas of piney hops, grapefruit, toasted malts and light toffee. Very strong pine flavor with a bit of candy. Quite bitter and acidic. Expecting more based on the nose.

On tap at the Alibi Room, pours cloudy golden orange with a medium beige head. Aroma brings out resinous hops, pine and caramel malts - great nose. Flavour is pungent, with strong notes of piney citrusy hops, some grapefruit and other light tropical fruits, and a thin caramel biscuity malt backing. Very hoppy, with very little malt backing but just enough to balance the body - leaves a medium astringency. Excellent stuff.

Sample from firkin at the 6th Annual Rogue Firkin Fest at Green Dragon. The beer pours a clear amber color with a medium white head that diminishes steadily. Stringy lacing on the glass. Aroma of hops, citrus and roast malt. Medium body with a moderately bitter citrusy hops character and notes of malt and pine. The finish is hoppy with a fruity aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

Pours clear gold with a tall, long lasting, sticky white head. Hoppy aroma of citrus and pine resin. The flavor carries lots of juicy malt sweetness with a good supporting hop bitterness. Some dryness comes in for the finish to cut any remaining sweetness.
