Bottle from Total Wine, Lynnwood, 6% ABV; bottles 09/02/14, less than 3 months ago
Hazy light amber color with medium sized head. The aroma is delicate and nice; it blends, malt, fudge, vanilla, and a flowery hint, chamomile. Smooth mouthfeel; lean caramel flavor with light residual sweetness; the flavor is not exceptional; it has a correct bitterness level, some timid hop resins, less fruits, overall the hops are not shining here.
Ordinary IPA.

Bomber bought at a gas station in Hood River. Pours nearly clear deep gold with a large off-white head with great retention, leaving lace. Aroma is strong in grapefruit, dirty malt, floral perfumy notes. Taste is citrusy, piney. Good, not great.

Share courtesy of MikeJslc. It pours with a clear copper body that supports a creamy light tan colored head. The aroma offers up sharp citrus notes, some mango and a bit of earthy black tea at the back end of the draw. The taste delivers malt sweetened lime like citrus as well as grapefruit and then a bit of mango tropical fruitiness. Nice crisp IPA.

Sample at the brewpub. The beer is a slightly hazy amber color with a medium off-white head that diminishes steadily. Strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of hops, citrus and malt. Light to medium body with flavors of citrusy hops, toasted malt and caramel. The finish is moderately bitter with a hoppy aftertaste. Decent overall.

Hazy copper coloured body with a lighter amber and bronzish glow with a thick, five centimetre tall tan head - nice, actually! Aroma of fresh grapefruity and piney hops with a bit of resin and some nice sugars and malt finishing up the nose - mouth watering and very cascadey and PNWy hops. Medium-bodied; Assertive grassy and herbal hops up front that fade a bit soon afterwards, but reassert themselves at the tail end with some resiny notes, all in the middle with a good malt backbone, a hint of sugars and a little grassy and herbal complexity. Aftertaste is nice and bittering from the hops and not in a horribly pungent way, but the flavours abound are very nice and show greatly. I love the choice and nature of these beers and how readily available they are in PNW - this is another fine example of a beer that I wish I could get all the time here at home, but it’s a few hours away by plane to grab a bunch then return. I sampled this 65 cL bottle purchased from Belmont Station in Portland, Oregon on 28-February-2012 for US$4.15 sampled at home in Washington (the real Washington - not the next-door neighbour of Oregon) on 15-July-2012.

Draft - Hoppy nose, ruddy orange with thick head. Very bitter with a medicinal quality that is just unrefined. Considering how good Hop Fury is from the same brewer a real disappointment.

Another above average beer from the sampler at the brewery. Was not expecting much based on the aroma. But a beautiful gold and clear beer with good white head leads to a very tasty and C-hop NW style IPA.
