This Dark Sour Ale was brewed with oak smoked malts. After the boil this beer was put in a coolship, where it was allowed to cool with the night air. After one year in barrels this beer came out with notes of bitter chocolate, wood and blood oranges.

Sampled at Wild Festival Groningen. Very dark brown with big dark beige head. Soft smoke, toffee, sour grains, light lemon, earthy dead leaves. Medium sour and under medium sweet and bitter. Like a smoked sour Dutch bock, so basically a lot better than that. Solid medium bodied. I’m loving it.
