This red lager is brewed with toasted barley grains for a slightly sweet aroma with a touch of hops, a rich caramel malt taste, and a smooth finish with a hint of molasses. Inspired by George Washington's recipe. $1 will be donated to Folds of Honor for each case sold.

Bread crust nose, cane sugar accents. Tea colored, thin head. Wood with a cardboard finish. Light body, moderate carbonation. Better than I expected.

Bottle with a twist off cap. Pours a clear bronze color with a small khaki head and decent retention. Spotty lacing. Light caramel nose. Light sweet caramel malt flavor too. Very clean finish. Simple and refreshing. Tastes like an Oktoberfest beer for the masses.

12 ounce bottle. Clear amber, large frothy white head that fades quickly. Aroma of toasted caramel. Taste matches with a hint of hops. Sweet caramel finish. Thin. Not actually bad.

Bottle: Clear, dark amber with a small beige head. Toasted grains, herbal/caramel aroma. Sweet and toasty......caramel malt, barley.....a bit of lightly spicy hops. A bit on the watery side, but really not too bad, overall.

Neighbor gave me a 16 oz bottle of this, I thought it was plain Budweiser. As soon as I tasted it I knew it was not just bud. I looked at the label and saw it was a red lager, NICE FIND! A tick! Its got a little more personality, more malt & a medicinal feel to it than expected, does not hide the alky well, seems more like 6%. I didn't really check out the color since I drank it right form the bottle but others say ot looks like yuengling. Doesn't taste like yuengling tho. Thank you GW!

12 ounce bottle into lager glass, best before 7/27/2018. Pours crystal clear deep orange/copper color with a 1 finger dense and rocky off white head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of cracker, white bread dough, and toasted biscuit; with lighter notes of nuttiness, caramel, pepper, and herbal/grassy earthiness. A bit of fruity aromas, but not overwhelming. Nice and pleasant aromas with dark/bready malts and light earthy hop notes; with solid strength. Taste of cracker, white bread dough, and toasted biscuit; with lighter notes of nuttiness, caramel, pepper, and herbal/grassy earthiness. Light herbal, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of cracker, white bread dough, toasted biscuit, light nuttiness/caramel, pepper, and herbal/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Nice robustness and complexity of dark/bready malts and light earthy hop flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance; and zero cloying/astringent flavors after the finish. Moderately crisp/clean finishing. Perfectly clean on lager flavors, with zero yeast notes present. Light-moderate increasing dryness from bitterness. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately bready/grainy, and fairly sticky balanced mouthfeel that is nice. Zero warming alcohol for 5.4%. Overall this is a nice amber lager. All around nice robustness and complexity of dark/bready malts and light earthy hop flavors; very smooth, crisp, clean, and refreshing to drink with the mellowly bitter/drying finish. Very flavorful for the ABV. Clean and nicely rich bready/toasty malts, with solid earthy hop presence/balance. Kind of almost in Vienna lager territory. A nicely enjoyable offering, and well made style example.

12 oz. bottle shared by Puboflyons. Thanks for the chance at this beauty! Clear copper colored and crystal clear. Aroma is generic malt, grain, and rye in both flavor and aroma. Watery body and texture. Not awful, just not much here. Not hard to drink.
