Pours light Golden with a thick white head. Heavily carbonated. Aroma of bread and floral hops. Taste is yeast-like, notes of coriander. Palate is floral and lightly hoppy. Really good pilsener.

Approximately a pilsner. Golden, weak hop nose, clean semi-dry malts, a bracing bittering hop finish. A bit lacking in character, slightly underhopped, slightly under-attenuated, a bit not crisp enough.

12 ounce bottle into lager glass, bottled on 12/17/2018. Pours crystal clear medium golden yellow color with a 1 finger dense and rocky white head with awesome retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of cracker, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, light pepper, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. A bit of fruity aromas, but not overwhelming. Nice and pleasant aromas with pale malts and light-moderate earthy hop notes; with solid strength. Taste of cracker, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, light pepper, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate herbal, floral, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of cracker, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, pepper, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Awesome robustness and balance of pale malts and light-moderate earthy hop flavors; with an awesome malt/bitterness balance, and no cloying/astringent flavors after the finish. Moderately crisp/clean finishing. Perfectly clean on lager flavors, with no fruity/yeasty notes. Light-moderate increasing dryness from lingering bitterness and carbonation. Medium-high carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/bready/grainy, and fairly sticky balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 4.7%. Overall this is an excellent German pilsner! All around great robustness and balance of pale malts and light-moderate earthy hop flavors; very smooth, crisp, clean, and refreshing to drink with the modestly bitter/drying finish. Very flavorful and not watery for the ABV. Awesome clean pils malt showcase, with nice noble hop presence/balance. A very enjoyable offering, and impressive spot on style example.

12 ounce bottle from Arrow Wine & Spirits. Clear golden, large foamy white head, decent retention. Aroma of toasted grain. Taste is toasted malt, tinny hops. Thin. Okay.

Close, which I guess counts for something. Miles ahead of other mass-produced American pilsners--yeah, Yuengling is considered a "craft" brewery, but only by the barest of margins--yet still not a very good beer. Grainy malt sweetness and modest floral hops mixed with hints of grass and buttered cracker, enough to make it drinkable in a pinch, but still lacking depth. Might be Yuengling's best beer, regardless. Eh.

I find all yuengy beers quite acceptable, for the most part. So, could not wait to try, Bot a sixzer to share (and rate) for $5! I drank this directly from a cold twist off bottle. Taste is typical civilized old country style pilz and it doesn't have that in yer face character like so many domestic real pilz whannah-beez. Refreshing, easy going, I think I can drink another! Yes, decent abv makes it quite a session, thank you. Crisp finish.

Wow... a new Yuengling beer. Kroger bottle. Pours absolutely clear gold with a small white head. Aroma is light grass, stink bug, slight floral hops. Flavor is simple, light green grass, light floral hops, little else... maybe a hint of glue. It sure isn't bad, but there's no depth here. In fact, I'll probably finish the beer taking sips to add to my flavor notes. There's nothing else. Doesn't taste cheap; have to say this is in line with their other brews - decent, a step above the other macros, but also lacking any identity.

Pours a clear golden color with a small white head and fair retention. No lacing. Standard pilsen malt nose. Crisp mouthfeel. Bright clean lagered pilsner flavor. Somewhat generic but very refreshing and sessionable.

12oz bottle-foamy dissipating white head-yellow/gold. A-floral/some spice, grain. T-follows with some cracker-lt malt.
