This stout is patterned after the Irish dry stout popular in Europe since the 1700s. Our version contains a mixture of black barley and roasted malt to five it a dark color and toasted flavor. The touch of sweetness from the pale malt is balanced by the Northern Brewer hops. This is classically brewed stout perfect for cooler months.

Draft. Ash, chocolate malt, and hay aroma. Black with moderate head. Moderately sweet coffee, chocolate malt, and moderately bitter hay and ash flavor. Good body. Solid.
