Old rating - A 330ml bottle from Waitrose, box of collaboration Fuller's & Friends. This one pours a red /brown colour with a white head. Aromas & tastes of caramel, berries, spice, grass, nuts & malts. Medium bodied. Medium bitter finish. Interesting beer & enjoyable.

Draught@Pub Solmu, Helsinki. Reddish amber colour with a small white head. Aroma is fruity, floral, some toasted and mild wooden tones. Flavour is fruity, some wooden, mild nutty and biscuity notes with a a bit of sweet maltiness to it as well. Sweet fruity and wooden aftertaste.

Can. Pours a nice clear amber, small head. Aroma is malty, lots of caramel, earthy and herbal hops, thyme, rich. Medium body. Flavour is malty, sweet and rich, medium bitterness, nice old world hops with grass, earthy and herbal hops flavours. Finish is bittersweet. Very balanced. Great esb.

(Bottle) Dark amber colour with frothy, tan head. Malty, slightly hoppy nose with caramel, rye bread, orange, dried fruit, treacle-toffee and earthy/herbal hops. Malty taste with notes of rye bread, caramel, treacle-toffee, grapefruit, dried fruit and a balanced earthy/spicy bitterness in the finish. Medium body, quite dry. Tasty and well made ESB. Very nice.

Bottle. Pale amber color. Dried fruit, raisin, floral notes and biscuity malt in the aroma. Dry, raisinny, floral flavor. Hint of licorice and blackberries. Indeed reminded me of the Fullers ESB I tasted in the late 70’s in Delft.

Fluffy off white head stayed on a reddish brown still body. Malt, berries & spices aroma. Medium bodied, sharp on the front with an airy back & clean finish. Spices, tea, hops, tangy citrus & malt hints on the taste.
