A medium-light bodied American India Pale Ale brewed with five different hop varieties. A blend of earthy and sweet citrus hop aromas softy rise from this hop forward brew. Bready malt and fruity tangerine flavors lead into a prominent bitterness that resonates pleasantly and finishes dry.

Bottle. Hazy medium orange-brown body, medium clumping cream head. Nose catty and herbal with medium citrus peel bitterness and a little tropical fruit. Bitter body, tropical fruit, papaya juice. Firm bitterness that dominates the finish. Solid but has that "I've tried this many times before" feel.

Crisp, clear copper coloured body with a bit of a peach glow, all underneath a one to two centimetre tall pure white head. Aroma of alcohol, grassy and piney hops with a subdued malt nose, but more sugars and more alcohol than at first. Medium-bodied; Assertive grassy and herbal flavoured hops up front with a big malt backbone, a good deal of alcohol, a slightly syrupy flavour with accompanied sweetness right behind and a more assertive resin and alcohol flavour near the end. Aftertaste is deep and quite bitter with hops, grass, hay, dry earth and alcohol all running strong and off-kilter in terms of balance. Overall, a decent beer that shows a bit too much body, malt, alcohol and pungency and not enough hops and bitter qualities, especially for the style. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Siciliano’s in Grand Rapids, Michigan by my dad on 03-June-2017 for US$1,99 - Thanks Dad, sampled at home in Washington on 23-August-2017.

Bottle. Pretty cool IPA - crazy bitter finish that gives a uniqueness. Really liked it.

Bottle: Cloudy, golden-yellow with a thick, off-white head. Pineapple, lemon, pine aroma. Taste is strong grapefruit-peel, lemon-peel, grain malt. Very nice all around....good initial sweetness and citrus followed by a steady bitter hopping.

Bottle. Pours a clear gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges and laces. Aroma has a combination of earthy and sweet citrus with a touch of grass and a sweet grain backbone. Flavor has more earthy citrus with a bit of grass and a bread backbone.

12 ounce bottle into tulip glass, bottled on 5/12/2017. Pours lightly hazy/cloudy medium golden/amber color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and fluffy white head with good retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings around the glass. Aromas of big tangerine, grapefruit, pineapple, peach, mango, passion fruit, lemon zest, orange peel, light pepper, pine, honey, toasted bread, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/tropical/pine hops and bready malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big tangerine, grapefruit, pineapple, peach, mango, passion fruit, lemon zest, orange peel, citrus rind, light pepper, pine, honey, toasted bread, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Good sized pine, citrus rind, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of tangerine, grapefruit, pineapple, peach, mango, passion fruit, lemon/orange rind, pepper, pine, honey, toasted bread, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/tropical/pine hops and bready malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and minimal lingering hop astringency after the finish. Moderate dryness from bitterness, increasing through the glass. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately bready/grainy, and sticky/resinous/rindy balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol for 7.6%. Overall this is a great IPA! All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/tropical/pine hops and bready malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink, despite the aggressively bitter/drying finish. Very vibrant, juicy, and dank on hops; nice malt backbone with no residual sweetness. A really delicious and enjoyable offering. Very classic tasting hop profile.
