Draught @ Trillium Canton. Sweet, heavy and ripe fruity with some yeastiness and spicy notes. Okay.

Tap at Trillium, Canton. Color is slightly cloudy golden with very small white head. Aromas and flavors: Some sweetness, some fruits, citrus and malts. Not much Belgian yeast elements.

750 ml. bottle sampled @ Trillium tasting. No date but oxidation is noticeable. Orange hazy uneven only sides white head. Nose is sweet sugar, oxidized BE, like a tripel with good oxidation. Taste is sugar, good BE oxidation, sweetness, cereal, candy, soft carbonation, really well oxidized tripel. Really good in the style and in general, has kept really well.

Bottle stupidly stored since 2015. Pours crystal clear yellow, large creamy white head, dissipates slowly, nice lacing. Aroma is grass, floral, lemon, Belgian yeast, coriander. Flavor is light plus sweet, light bitter, black pepper and floral notes. Medium body, soft mouthfeel

Pours a clear dark straw from a can. I asked a friend what he thought and he said, kind of like a Heineken. I don't think it's that bad. But I don't get it as a Belgian ale, no yeastiness, no candi sugar, it really does taste like a pale amber ale, although there's a nice dryness on the finish. Good beer all told.

Surprisingly nuanced Belgian pale from Trillium, heavy on the traditional banana-clove notes but with a moderate citric hop streak and a yeasty dryness on the back end. Pepper, pine, and lemon mark the fade. Not a classic, but good.

Cans from the source: pours pale gold with a white head. Aroma is floral, bready, yeasty, and some fruitiness. Taste is slightly bitter. Sort of sweet. Pretty solid.
