Our series of New England barrel-aged saisons continues with Lineage Spelt, brewed with a hefty amount of raw spelt. Aromas of apricot, white grape and a lively acidity greet the senses. A palate of zesty lemon, kiwi, and a complex oak note are found in the finish. Light in body and crisp carbonation, Lineage Spelt is very refreshing.

Bottle at CBJ Tasting. Cheers Leighton. Hazy opaque honey gold. Thin foamy translucent white head. Aroma is vinous and dank with light sweetness. Flavourwise it sour - tart and vinous - with juicy hints. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Soft carbonation. Long dry astringent finish. Yep.

Very nice stuff. Juicy, jammy and tart, citrusy, salty twang. Has some punch it’s got some balance. Some melon, peach, tangerine. Solid.

Bottle into a taster showing pale gold with sparse white foam. The nose shows clean light notes of barnyard. The palate is well carbonated and light bodied. Moderately tart with clean moderately intense notes of clean lemon drops with strong citric edge throughout.
