On tap at Parkersburg, pours a clear bright golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of bitter grapefruit rind and citrus hops in full force. Flavour is bitter and biting, with bright citrus hops, lots of bitter grapefruit rind, and just enough crisp biscuity malt to back. Crisp, biting and bitter. Quite pleasant.

Taster at brewery. Clear golden, small foamy head, lacing. Bitter aroma, grapefruit peel. Taste seems light on the grapefruit but still packs a tangy bitterness. Floral, woody.

Grass, pencil shavings, orange nose. Cloudy amber, thin yellow head. Orange with cocoa, smoke, and horehound underneath. Medium body, easy carbonation. Odd malt bill, not very citrusy.

Light grapefruit, ok malt. A hint of smoke, kind of odd. Golden pour without much head. Bitter and light smoky finish. Strange. Can.

Can: Cloudy, yellow-gold with a tall off-white head. Grapefruit, grain, pine aroma. Taste is solidly bitter grapefruit-peel, pine. Makes me hark back a few years....when the world was just chock-full of straight-up basic IPA's...…. Pretty good.

12 ounce can. Pours a somewhat cloudy orange hue with a medium white head. A soft grapefruit nose. Big oily citrus, biscuit, a sort of old school IPA. Solid.
