This gnarly Grapefruit IPA is for all you Dudes, Beach Bunnies, Hodads, & Goofy-Footers! Our Citrus Tsunami is no ankle buster. We blend light American pale malts for a subtle sweetness and then overwhelm the malt background with a tidal wave of citrusy hop bitterness, flavors, & aroma. So get your toes on the nose & grab a pint to catch the Tsunami. Hang Loose!

Grapefruit peel, cedar, and orange malt aroma. Cloudy golden yellow with moderate white head. Mildly sweet orange, biscuit malt, and strongly bitter grapefruit peel and pine flavor. Good body. Nice.

Can from weihenweizen, thanks: pours light copper with a thick head. Aroma is grapefruit, sort of earthy, plenty of malt backbone. Aroma and taste harken back to an earlier era of IPA... the time of pine and sharp citrus, back when maltiness was an acceptable characteristic. The taste is bitter, strong, lingering. Solid. Terrible graphic design on the can though, for those who care.

On tap at Timothy’s. Hazy golden with big white fluffy head. Aroma is nice herbal hops, medium body, medium/well carbonated, and good small-bubble lacing. Taste is nice herbal hops and bitter finish. Pretty close to Two-hearted for me.
