From a big 24 oz can for 3$, what a deal! LoL. Nose is very clean non artificial lime, all over the place. The look of it is just another pale beer with a big white head that fades rapidly. Lacks sugar, and I like that! Its not just another malted soda pop bomb. Actually, is a simple real limed up beer with a little salt added, almost comes across like a solid gose. Yes, there is no extra sugar and lime is added with a just a little tad of salt, not bad. Was expecting something much more demeaning. It seems Modelo did this one-up good and I am actually enjoying it. Much better than expected. Now I see the sun shining thru. I easily drank this 24 oz beer with no problems, easy going and relatively refreshing. Very good level of co2. Never an artificial moment within. Thanks Mo-dell.

12oz can at home from my wife's friend. Pours slightly cloudy golden with a small white head, some lacing. Fruity, lime, mild corn, salty. Decent. This will be a good lawn mower beer.

OK so this one was an educational experience of a sort. I assumed that all cheladas had tomato juice, but turns out on further research that there is a difference between chelada and michelada, the former is lime and salt beer cocktail typically - so in that case, the Modelo Limon y Sal Chelada conforms to a traditional chelada cocktail. Well, I guess that depends, because a freshly made cocktail has got to taste (and look) better than this. Poured a cloudy urine color. Smell was mainly lime and cheap swill beer, as was the flavor, plus a big kick of salt. Lime sourness and strong saltiness dominated the flavor. It was an appropriate quencher (served as a lawn mower beer from me, obtained from the neighborhood WaWa), but really did not taste good and I'd rather go back to the Bud Light Clamato michelada. While the saltiness was potentially too strong, it was really the strong sour lime component that turned me off here.

Tall boy: Lime nose. Cloudy yellow, thin head. Lightly tart lime. Biscuit finish. Light body, moderate carbonation. Mostly lime juice, but somewhat beery and very refreshing. Gets really salty by the end of the can.

24 ounce can into pint glass, canned on 1/22/2019. Pours slightly hazy medium golden yellow color with a 1 finger fairly dense and fluffy white head with solid retention, that reduces to a thin spotty lace cap that lingers. Light spotty lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Good appearance. Aromas of big sour/tart/tangy lime juice, lemon, citrus peel/zest, sea salt, cracker, and white bread; with lighter notes of corn, pepper, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance of lime juice/peels, sea salt, moderate pale malt/grains, and light-moderate earthy hop notes; with great strength. Taste of big sour/tart/tangy lime juice, lemon, citrus peel/zest, sea salt, cracker, and white bread; with lighter notes of corn, pepper, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate lime tang/tartness; and herbal, floral, grassy, peppery, citrus peel bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of tart/tangy lime juice, lemon, citrus peel/rind, sea salt, cracker, white bread, pepper, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice robustness and balance of lime juice/peels, sea salt, moderate pale malt/grains, and light-moderate earthy hop flavors; with a nice malt/bitterness and tart/tangy fruit balance. Fairly crisp/clean finishing. Perfectly clean on lager flavors, with no yeasty notes present. Moderate increasing dryness from lingering bitterness and tart/tangy citrus. Medium carbonation and light body; with a very smooth, moderately grainy/sticky/acidic/rindy, and lightly saline balanced mouthfeel that is good. Mind lingering hop/fruit astringency through the glass, but not overwhelming. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 3.5%. Overall this is a very good fruit beer. All around nice robustness and balance of lime juice/peels, sea salt, moderate pale malt/grains, and light-moderate earthy hop flavors; very smooth and fairly crisp/clean/refreshing to drink with the modestly bitter/tart/tangy/drying finish. Very flavorful and not watery for the ABV. Great balance of vibrant citrus and clean adjunct lager flavors; with nice earthy hop presence/balance for the style. Not overly salty. A very enjoyable offering, and well made style example. Not sure why they named it a chelada, I was expecting tomatoes/spices initially. Definitely false advertising on this one.

Pours a clear amber with a thick white head. Extreme carbonation. Aroma of salty lime, like a gose. Taste is dominated by lime and lemon. Palate has salty elements on the back of the lime. Actually not terrible.

Lemon/lime, salt, and malt aroma. Golden yellow with moderate but short-lasting head. Moderately sweet lemon-lime, malt, moderately salty, and very lightly bitter straw flavor. Body light. Not bad - no off flavor. Delivers as promised.
