Draft. A black beer with a lazing dark brown head. The aroma has notes of alcohol, whiskey, smoke, and roasted malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of molasses, smoke, whiskey, roasted malt, and dark chocolate, leading to a bitter finish.

Nearly black, unclear with small, lasting creamy beige head. Whisky aroma, light peat. Sweet flavour, malt, caramel, whisky and wood. Quite boozy, barely balanced. Has some licorice in the finish. Good warmth, nice sipper.

Bottle 37,5 cl. Pours an opaque, dark brown with a light brown head. Intense, sweet whiskey aroma, although not particularly ryeish. And fortunately very little peat here. Rich, sweet, fatty body, caramel and nuts on a rather boozy background. Lots of nice wood here and an acceptable level of tannins. Again there's plenty of warming whiskey here, but it doesn't have that sweet and smooth vanilla that you get in American whiskeys. Still a very pleasant and warming sipper. 280519

Thanks! Sampled draft @ Billie’s Beer Festival 2018. Day 1. Black, little head. Nose is sourish boozy vinous almost. Alcoholic, boozy, peated, crude and low sour, not a fan & not too good given the low vinous streak.
