Single purchased at Chisholm Market on the north side of Grand Cayman Island. The pour is an opaque black brown with a foamy tan head that leaves behind lace. The aroma is cane sugar, light soy, roasted malt, and a faint waft of char. The taste is black licorice, soy, soft sweetness of cane sugar molasses and the roast soft char carried through to a dry finish. The palate is medium bodied with active natural carbonation and the dry roasty finish. Solid.

At the source: pours bead black with a beige head. Aroma is molasses and some roast. Very drinkable and not too sweet stout. Quite solid. Some bitterness with a sweet aftertaste. I was impressed.

Small format bottle from a pick-up store on Grand Cayman. Aroma is cocoa, medium/lighter body, and medium/lighter carbonation. Taste is cocoa. Alcohol is covered. You can get the Guinness Foreign Extra Stout from Jamaica on Grand Cayman, I prefer this.

Shared pre-opened bottle at local tasting. ABV is 7.5%. Dark brown to black colour, no carbonation due to the bottle being opened too long. Moderate roasty aroma, some chocolate and coffee. Fairly decent flavour, some chocolate, hints of coffee and liquorice.

Shared bottle at RB/HD at Gunnar´s 18.04.17. Dark brown. Fine aroma of dates, rasins, dates, dark syrup and roasted malt. Similar taste, with rasins and prunes in good aftertaste. Good drinkability.

Black as the deepest dungeon, and a fine beige head. Good lacing also. Ok intensity in the aroma. Medium (+) body and a smooth fine carbonation level. Mellow and fine sweetness. Chocolate, roasted barley and coffee in the flavor. Decent and fine stout. Ok balanced.

Bottle picked up in a cruise stop in Grand Cayman. Beautiful pour, rich dark almost black with a lasting good sized tan head. Aroma of molasses, roasted malt, milk chocolate, nut and banana. Medium sweetness, light bitterness. Medium to full bodied, slick texture, soft carbonation. Finish is dry, sticky, fruity, chocolaty, and a touch sour.
