Very true to the style that originated in Köln (Cologne), Germany. Our Kolsch is unfiltered and cold-conditioned. The result is a beer that is clean and refreshing, with a crisp finish. It is agreeable without being boring, the beer liver’s session ale.

This is pretty much just straightforward beer uninspiring and okay. Appearance’s a clear yellow, small short-lived head, no lace. Aroma and flavor are about the same: beer. Okay body and finish.

Bottle: Nearly clear gold with a VERY tall, persistent white head.....poured in a Kolsch glass...just funnels the foam right up. Sweet lemon, grain scent. Creamy, grain malt, sweet lemon flavour. A little lactic, but OK.... I prefer these to be a little sharper and not as sweet.

Keg at Whole Foods Wauwatosa, 9/22/16. Slightly hazy golden, large foamy white head, good retention. Aroma of doughy malt, toast, butter, mild floral hops. The taste is bready malt, citrus and floral hops. Medium bodied, crisp.

A blonde kolsch with a thin white head. In aroma, a smooth grainy malt, OK. In mouth, a light grainy malt with a rather watery body, so-so. On tap at brewpub, Jan 20 2012.
