Pour is a tan with a small white head. Aroma is nothing and flavor follows with a big helping of nothing. Very watery and not worth your time.

12 oz. bottle. This much I knew going in: a light beer contracted to the quality-minded folks at Minhas, stickered 49¢ in Sam’s end-of-code bin. Yet, slightly better than I’d have expected. Pours a decent head over a light amber color. Smell has some malt and a touch of hop, but also distinct adjunct. Taste starts out okay; then the mouthfeel turns to the typical light beer thinness. No metallic twang as in processed lites, but some corn sweetness against a light hop load. This almost makes it as a light beer just for having some actual beer body. And isn’t Dixie’s brewery rebuilt yet?

Bottle. Pours a pale golden color with a small frothy white head that leaves sticky lacing along the glass. The aroma is a skunk corn malt. The taste is similar to the aroma with a bitter finish. Not much going on with this one.

Bottle on 11/28/2008 in the Great Butters Tasting of 2008. Clear golden body with a medium creamy white head. Grain and fruity apple aroma with some light toastiness. Sweet caramel, honey, toasty notes, some light apple, and a touch of sour. Medium light body with moderately high carbonation.

Everything about this beer is like Jazz music and all that jazz. Aroma has slight hints of honey on an otherwise background olfactory of my grammas permanent hair treatment. Fairly un hazy pale lager appearance. Weak and fairly non offensive on the taste buds. Just enough to let you know its beer and its not bad. Nice tingly carbonation. A rather enjoyable beer for a session and its as expected. Glad I tried this, it went down easy. Yep, just like jazz, free flowing without any one particular attribute except mildness. S5L2F3T5O12

Bottle. Grassy, floral aroma. Very lite amber color with a white head that just ringed. Rather thin in body with fizzy carbonation. Flavor is like wheat and malt, lightly sweet caramel. Finish is clean, refreshing, and seems to have a touch of spice. Actually a good drink, for a light lager.

12 oz bottle-pours a white head and gold color. Aroma is sweet malty, bee pollen/wax? Taste is grain/sweet malty-some caramel, secondary lemon/metallic hops. Light body. OK carbonation. Thanks Joe for sharing.

This was a much prettier beer than I expected it to be. Copper/amber colored with a medium head that disappeared fast. It also blew the regular Dixie Beer to Hell, man that stuff was horrid. On to the negatives: It was not as good as the Crimson or Blackened Voodoo. While more flavorful and fuller bodied than most light beers, it was still a light beer and you can only squeeze so much out of that. Faint malt flavor and aroma was about all it had going for it.

Fairly malty, with hints at caramel/toffee in the aroma, but with metallic overtones in the flavor.
