Bottle at the Spread Eagle, Ipswich. Pours dark amber with a good sized frothy off-white head. Aroma of mild ginger, light spice, toffee and syrup. Medium plus sweetness, light bitterness. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Subtle ginger finish but with a little fire to it.

Damn good! They should've named it the Gingerbread Man, although I guess it doesn't taste like that. Not much ginger, actually. Delicious!

330ml Bottle - Dark amber with small head. Strong aroma of ginger but some nuts can be detected too. Spicy, earthy and moderately sweet taste with ginger standing out along with notes of caramel and sultanas.

330ml bottle from Pinta's in Moscow. Pours hazy brown with a small off-white head. Aroma is ginger, sweet malts, spices. Taste is medium sweet, ginger, syrup, malt.

Bottle - Malty and spicy ginger. Clear Amber with a small white head. Malty and some ginger with a touch of spice. Not quite what I like this style.

Bottle at a local Asian restaurant. Poured a hazy, light brown color with a little ruby tinge and a white head. Aroma was surprisingly heavy in malts - not a lot of ginger here, which is a little unfortunate. Flavor was caramel, light ginger - but not a lot. Not impressed.

33 cl bottle @ home. Deep reddish brown color. Off white head with a thin layer retention. Aroma’s: sweet, toffee, sugar, ginger. Retronasal it’s much less sweet, with more ginger. Flavor is malty moderate sweet, light spices. Medium bodied. Light dry and light bitter finish. Quite enjoyable.

Rødbrun farge med lys beige skum som ras kt faller. Blir liggende ett tynt lag. Lukter fruktig og krydret. Fyldig og oljete i munnfølelse. Smaker karamell, krydder. Ikke verst øl dette.
